Always reliable service

I've been using Emma for almost two years now, mostly for the Budget Planner and Subscription Tracker. I upgraded to Emma Pro this time, taking advantage of an annual plan discount. The process was as smooth as ever, just like when I signed up for Plus last year. Everything integrated perfectly, and I was tracking my new investments within minutes. Good to see the consistency.

Great value for tracking finances

As a first-time buyer, I was looking for something to help me manage my money without breaking the bank. I snagged an Emma Pro free trial, then saw the annual plan discount, which sealed the deal. Getting the Subscription Tracker, Budget Planner, and Investment Platform all for that price felt like a real win. It's giving me a much clearer picture of my financial health than I had before, which makes the cost feel completely justified. Definitely a good investment for keeping my budget in check.

Good features, some navigation quirks

I recently signed up for Emma Plus after trying the 7-day free trial. The Net Worth Tracker and Custom Categories are really helpful for staying on top of my finances. The Bank Account Aggregation worked flawlessly with my main bank. My only minor gripe is that sometimes navigating between the different tracking features feels a bit clunky, like a few too many taps to get where I want to go. Overall though, it's a solid app for managing money and worth the subscription for the insights it provides.

Pretty good for seeing where money goes

Decided to give Emma a go because my spending was getting a bit out of hand. Used the basic Emma Budget App. It was pretty straightforward to link up my bank, no drama there. I liked seeing all my transactions in one place and the app automatically sorting them with the Financial Analytics. It's kinda cool to see exactly what I'm spending on groceries versus eating out. Made me realize I need to cut back a bit, haha. Overall, a decent tool if you're trying to get a handle on your cash.

So helpful for budgeting!

I just started using Emma after a friend recommended it for budgeting. I went with the Emma Budget App and it has already changed how I look at my spending! Linking my accounts was super easy, and seeing everything in one place, especially the Expense Categorisation, is just amazing. I can actually see where my money goes now. I will absolutely keep using this! So glad I finally tried it out.

Hey, thinking about trying Emma. Is it really better than something like Mint or YNAB for tracking spending?

B Beth 3 months ago
I've used Mint before and it was okay, but Emma's budgeting tools feel a bit more intuitive for me. Especially the way it tracks subscriptions, that's super helpful.

Yeah, I switched from YNAB mostly because Emma connects to so many banks and the net worth feature is actually useful. YNAB felt like more work sometimes.

Is there a free version of Emma or do you have to pay right away for anything useful?

R Raj R. 2 months ago
There's definitely a free tier! I used it for ages before I upgraded to Pro. You get basic tracking and budgeting, which is a good start.

Yeah, the free version is pretty solid for just seeing where your money goes. They usually have trial offers for the paid stuff too, so you can test drive the extra features.
